Who we are

RaceFit Gyms (racefitgyms.co.uk) is run by George Evans-Sinacola, trading as RaceFit Gyms, who is the data controller for this website. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Browsing this site: we don't set cookies of our own and don't use advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to serve and protect the site. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures page views without cookies.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email is collected and stored by beehiiv, our newsletter provider, to send RaceFit Weekly. Lawful basis: consent. Unsubscribe from any email.
• Gym claims and corrections: the claim form is provided by Tally. We use your name, gym, role and contact details to verify you and update the listing. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (keeping listings accurate) and steps before a contract.
• Featured payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address and gym name, not your full card details. Lawful basis: contract; we keep billing records as required by law.
• Emails with us: if you email us, or we reply to a claim, we may use Resend to send email. We keep correspondence while needed to deal with it.
• Maps: race pages load the Leaflet map library from unpkg.com and map tiles from OpenStreetMap's tile servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them. Map links to Google Maps open Google's site.
• Amazon links: kit links go to Amazon UK as an affiliate; Amazon's own privacy notice applies on their site.

Gym listings

Gym names, addresses and locations come from the public HYROX Training Club finder, and prices from gyms' own websites. If a listing contains personal information (for example, a coach's name at a home address), contact us and we'll correct or remove it.

Who we share data with

Only the providers above (beehiiv, Tally, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and the map providers), acting for us or as independent controllers on their own sites. Some are based outside the UK; they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations. We don't sell personal data.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Claim and correction forms: while the listing is active, then up to 12 months.
• Payment and billing records: 6 years, for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
